Method:
1. Firstly, put 900g of peeled, cored and roughly chopped apples in a two-litre firm-based cake tin. Alternatively, you can line the air fryer with foil and place the apples in a mixing bowl. 2. Next, pour over two tablespoons of water and sprinkle over two teaspoons of ground cinnamon and two tablespoons of the sugar. Combine by mixing together. 3. Set the air fryer temperature to 180C and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, stir the apples and then cook for a further 10 minutes. 4. While they're cooking, rub together 100g of unsalted butter into 200g of plain flour until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Then, stir in two teaspoons of cinnamon and 40g of demerara sugar. 5. Put the crumble mix on top of the cooked apples and level it out. The crumble needs to cover all of the apples. 6. Air fry the crumble for another 10 minutes until it's golden and serve with single cream - or whatever accompaniment you prefer.
